First Coast Creative was selected as their final choice to create their new eCommerce website.

The project had a mission critical deadline. They came to us 5 months before Christmas of 2007 and required the new site be up and operational for December of that year. It’s no surprise that the holiday season is their biggest time of year for online sales and they needed a development partner who they could trust to deliver.

First Coast Creative was up to the challenge and launched the final product 2 weeks earlier then the target go live date.

The design requirements were very precise and FCC worked closely Peterbrooke’s executive team to create a user interface that satisfied all of their unique  operational requirements.

From a marketing standpoint they had a specific look and feel in mind – they wanted to maintain the existing brand but diverge slightly from the typical “Artisan Chocolatier” look by not employing a color theme dominated by brown and earth tones.

The check out process needed to be user friendly, 1-Click Check out as well as Full Account Sign Up were both requirements.

Managing the fulfillment process was equally specific to their business model – not only did they want robust sales reporting, invoicing, inventory management and UPS delivery tracking integration, but they also required that they could keep a close eye on abandoned carts and bounce rates. Other features, such as the ability to offer coupons, cross sell items, featured products, and quality discounts, where designed and developed as well.

At the last minute a Google Maps powered Store Locator was requested.

FCC rapidly developed a customized Google API interface to return GPS triggered map visual markers so that custumers could find local franchises easily.

FCC was proud of the work we accomplished and the experience with Peterbrooke was a mutual success.
